Marshall Family - Familie Marshall

The Marshall-family has three sons. The brothers are Tom (age 4), Carl (age 7) , and John (age 12). Tom is still at home. Carl has begun primary (elementary) school and is in the second grade. John is in his last year of elementary school and almost ready to begin junior high school. They are a middle-class family living in a northeastern city in the U.S. under comfortable circumstances. As a historical tool we also add images of how the boys might have dressed if they were not from a middle-class family. We will show how the boys dressed at different stages from underwear to overcoats.

Die Marshall-Familie hat drei Söhne. Die Brüder heißen Tom (4 Jahre alt), Carl (7 Jahre alt) und John (12 Jahre alt). Tom ist noch zu Hause. Carl besucht die zweite Klasse der "Primary-" oder "Elementary-School" (Grundschule). John ist im letzten Jahr der "Elementary-School" und kurz davor die "Junior High School" zu besuchen. Die Familie gehört zur Mittelschicht, und könnte irgendwo in einer Stadt im Nordosten der U.S.A. gelebt haben. Zusätzlich zu der Bilderserie, die zeigen soll, welche Kleidungsstücke die Jungs einst getragen haben könnten, sollen weitere Bilder hinzugefügt werden. Diese Bilder sollen demonstrieren, was sie getragen haben könnten, wenn sie zu einer anderen sozialen Schicht angehört hätten.
